By booking or renting a vehicle from Cliohydromotive Car Rental, you agree to comply with the terms and conditions outlined below.
Customers must provide valid identification, a valid driver’s licence, and any other documents required before the vehicle is released. The customer must be legally permitted to drive and must meet the minimum age and rental requirements set by the company.
All bookings are subject to vehicle availability, confirmation, and payment requirements. A booking is not fully secured until the required payment or deposit has been received and confirmed.
The rented vehicle must be used responsibly and only for lawful purposes. The customer is responsible for keeping the vehicle in good condition during the rental period and must return it at the agreed date, time, location, and condition.
The customer is responsible for any traffic tickets, fines, tolls, damages, fuel shortages, late return charges, cleaning fees, or other costs incurred during the rental period, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Vehicles must not be used for racing, towing, illegal activity, reckless driving, or by any unauthorised driver. The company reserves the right to refuse or cancel a rental where the customer fails to meet the rental requirements or breaches these terms.
Rental rates, deposits, fees, and charges may vary depending on the vehicle type, rental duration, season, availability, and any additional services requested.
By completing a booking, the customer confirms that all information provided is true and accurate and agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
Return, Cancellation and Refund Policy
Vehicles must be returned on or before the agreed return date and time stated in the rental agreement. The vehicle must be returned in the same general condition it was received, excluding normal use, and with the agreed fuel level.
Late returns may attract additional charges. If a customer expects to return a vehicle late, they must contact Cliohydromotive Car Rental as soon as possible to request an extension. Extensions are subject to approval and vehicle availability.
Customers are responsible for any damage, missing items, excessive dirt, fuel shortage, traffic fines, or other charges identified upon return of the vehicle.
Booking cancellations must be made within the required notice period set by the company. Refunds, where applicable, will depend on the timing of the cancellation, the payment already made, and the terms agreed at the time of booking.
Deposits may be refundable after the vehicle has been returned and inspected, provided there are no outstanding charges, damage, fines, late fees, or breaches of the rental agreement.
Refunds will not usually be granted where a customer fails to collect the vehicle, returns the vehicle early without prior agreement, breaches the rental terms, or provides false or incomplete information.
Approved refunds will be processed using the company’s approved payment method and may take a reasonable processing time depending on the bank or payment provider.
